Prayer Club
Prayer Club is run and organised by our Pupil Chaplains every Wednesday lunchtime. All pupils and staff are warmly welcome to come and pray in a calm and reflective environment. Some people like to pop in for a short time, while others choose to stay longer to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
Our Pupil Chaplains help to lead the prayer time by creating prayer cards and supporting others in prayer. They also provide a Book of Intentions, where pupils and staff can write their prayers and thoughts using special silver and gold pens. At the end of each Prayer Club session, the chaplains gather together to pray for all the intentions that have been written in the book.
During Advent and Lent, Prayer Club includes additional times for quiet reflection and prayer as we prepare for Christmas and Easter. These special times help pupils think about kindness, forgiveness and helping others.
In October, the Month of the Rosary, and May, the Month of Mary, pupils and staff are also invited to come together each Friday lunchtime to pray the Rosary.
Prayer Club provides a special opportunity for our school community to come together in faith, reflection and prayer.
