Our Reception topic this half-term is 'Once Upon a Time'. Reception will be focused on traditional tales whilst Pre-School will be looking at nursery rhymes. We will be exploring the 'big idea' that stories have characters, settings and events, stories rhyme and have patterns  and we can also retell stories in our own way. We will also be practising our Nativity play and celebrating seasonal events such as Bonfire Night and Christmas.
