All classes have daily English lessons for approximately one hour, during which children are taught reading and writing skills, spelling, punctuation and grammar skills as well as developing speaking and listening. English is taught in other lessons through activities that require children to discuss, write and read.

Class 2b- Poems to Learn by Heart

Year 2 learnt a poem all about Robot's. They created their own actions and performed them to the rest of the class.

Class 1- The Enormous Turnip

Reception made a book of characters from the story 'The Enormous Turnip'.

Class 1- The Gingerbread Man

Class 1 have been learning the story 'The Gingerbread Man'. They have made gingerbread men, written instructions to make gingerbread men and have sequenced the story.
