Year 6 Pupils Celebrate Art Success

Three talented year 6 pupils are celebrating a fantastic achievement after their artwork was selected as winning entries in the Pendle art Competition.
As part of their prize, the children's designs have been transformed into a permanent piece of artwork, which is now proudly displayed in the foyer of the new Pendle Police station.
The successful pupils, along with children from other schools in the local area, were invited to a special awards ceremony at the Police station. During the event, they received certificates and prizes in recognition of their creative achievements and had the opportunity to see their artwork on public display for the first time.
The visit also included a range of exciting activities. Pupils enjoyed a skills demonstration from the police dogs and their handlers, met local Police officers, and had the chance to try out some police equipment. The experience provided a fascinating insight into the work of the Police and was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who attended.
We are incredibly proud of our talented pupils and their wonderful achievement.
Congratulations to all three winners on their well-deserved success.
