Road Safety Week
This week, our children took part in a range of activities to learn about staying safe on the roads.
Our Preschool children enjoyed responding to the Green Light, Red Light game, helping them understand the importance of stopping when the light is red.
Reception and Class 2 carried out their road safety training, learning how to stay safe as pedestrians and practising how to cross roads carefully.
Class 3 and Class 4 worked alongside the local police to check the speed of drivers on Halifax Road. The children were able to monitor vehicle speeds and thank those who were keeping within the speed limit.
It was a valuable and enjoyable week for all pupils, helping them develop important skills for staying safe in their community.
