Today we celebrated World Book Day. We celebrated their love of books and reading in an event-packed day.  Holy Trinity places a high value on reading for pleasure. The children loved sharing their favourite stories and discovering some new ones.  Children came to school dressed up as one of their favourite characters or a word of the day. We had a whole host of creative words from ‘transcendental’ and ‘powerful’ to ‘radiant’ and ‘illuminate’. A focus for this year has been vocabulary development. What a great way to learn new words!
