PE is on a Wednesday and a Thursday.  Please ensure your child's PE kit is in school on these days. 

Homework is set on Fridays and due the following Thursday. The children will have a variety of spellings, maths, grammar and research.

Times tables are really important and children are expected to know all their times tables by the end of year 4.  Please practise these with your child as often as possible. The children have their login details for TTRS stuck in their reading records. Another website that is useful is: www.timestables.me.uk

Spellings are tested on a Friday. The children learn words from the Year 3/4 word lists and spelling patterns. 

Reading is vital for children's progress and we ask that they read with an adult every night. Reading records should be signed frequently. Reading books are changed on Mondays and Thursdays.
