As a Roman Catholic School, our faith is central to everything that takes place in Holy Trinity. Our mission is deeply rooted in our Catholic faith and our commitment to nurturing the holistic development of each child. Inspired by our Mission Statement, “To go forward together in Christ respecting our neighbour and striving for excellence,' we strive to create a loving and supportive environment where every student feels valued and empowered to grow in faith, knowledge, and character.

Our Catholic life is the cornerstone of our school community – it is what we are. Daily prayers; the celebration of holy mass; and Religious Education are integral parts of our provision, providing children with the opportunity to deepen their relationship with God and live out their faith in their everyday lives. We encourage our children to embrace the teachings of Jesus Christ, fostering a spirit of compassion, kindness, and respect for others.

Holy Trinity is dedicated to nurturing the hearts of our children by promoting a sense of belonging and community.  Our school is proud to be fully inclusive, celebrating our rich diversity. Our children come from a range of faith and cultural  traditions – all are welcomed, valued and treated with respect.

Our GIFT Team, Eco Warriors, SNAG, Eco Warriors  and Mental Health groups lead their peers in living out our mission. Through various projects and our involvement with organisations such as CAFOD & Caritas Salford, we instil in our children the importance of working for social justice and encourage all children to be active, caring members of society, working for the common good at a local, national and global level. This is lived out in our charitable works and through our curriculum, where aspects of Catholic Social Teaching are well embedded.

Our Catholic Life & Mission is underpinned by highly positive relationships between pupils, staff, governors and parents.  Staff at all levels are deeply committed to supporting our most vulnerable pupils and their families, both emotionally and practically. We have strong links with our parish, working together to develop the spirituality of our community and to help those in need.

The Religious Education of our pupils is the core of the core curriculum; the practice and teaching of the Catholic Faith is central. Our Faith is not just something added on to everything else we do as a school, but runs through all our learning.  10% RE curriculum time is allocated across all key stages. The staffing and resourcing devoted to RE is of the highest standard, reflecting its significance and importance in our school.

We hope that the children educated at our school will grow towards religious maturity, ready to face the responsibilities of a Christian life.
