We had a fantastic time celebrating World Book Day in school! It was wonderful to see the children arrive dressed as their favourite book characters. The costumes were brilliant, and it was very exciting to see such a wide range of characters from many different stories brought to life around school.

Throughout the day, the children enjoyed sharing their favourite books, listening to stories and taking part in a range of fun reading activities. These activities helped to promote a love of reading and encouraged children to talk about the books they enjoy.

Class 4 also joined the World Book Day live online lesson, taking part in an exciting interactive session with pupils from schools across the country. The children thoroughly enjoyed being part of this event and learning more about the joy of reading.

It was a lovely day that truly celebrated books, imagination and the pleasure of reading.
