Class 2 have been developing their STEM skills through exciting hands-on learning with LEGO facilitated by BFC. During their sessions, pupils explored key concepts in science, technology, engineering and maths by designing, building and evaluating their own creations.

The children worked collaboratively to solve problems, follow design briefs and test the strength and stability of their structures. They experimented with different ways to make their models stronger and discussed how changes improved their designs. This encouraged critical thinking, resilience and teamwork.

Saffran Nacelles, Restart Consulting, Micheal Bailey Associates and Gener8 have all partnered with Burnley Football in the Community charity on this exciting project which will help raise aspirations and create new opportunities for young people across East Lancashire.
