We are delighted to share the wonderful success of our School Council Book Swap Event, held as part of our celebrations for National Storytelling Week.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our families, we received a fantastic collection of gently used children’s books, ready to be loved again in new homes. Pupils were thrilled to exchange their Book Buck tokens for a book of their choice, and the excitement as they browsed, chose, and shared new stories was truly lovely to see.

This event was a brilliant way to promote a love of reading, while also encouraging sustainability by reusing and recycling books within our school community.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated books and supported this event — you helped make it a memorable and meaningful celebration of storytelling.
