We are thrilled to share that four of our Year 5 pupils represented our school at the Maths Challenge 2025/26, an exciting competition organised by Burnley FC in the Community.

The event brought together some of the most talented young mathematicians from schools across Pendle. Our team attended the Year 5 Challenge Day today at Blacko Primary, where they tackled a series of challenging and fun mathematical problems.

Their hard work and teamwork paid off – they qualified for the Grand Final at Turf Moor in May 2026, which will include school in Burnley too! This is a fantastic achievement, and we couldn’t be prouder of their dedication and enthusiasm.

We look forward to cheering them on in the final as they compete for the title of Maths Challenge Winner 2026.
