Year 5/6 Football Team Shine at Rainy Tournament

Our Year 5/6 football team had a brilliant day at today’s tournament, showing exactly what makes our pupils such fantastic ambassadors for the school. Despite the challenging weather conditions, the team demonstrated remarkable resilience, teamwork and sportsmanship from start to finish.
Throughout the afternoon, the children supported one another, communicated confidently on the pitch, and approached each match with determination and enthusiasm. Their positive attitudes – even as the rain poured – were a real testament to their character. It was wonderful to see them applying the values we promote in school: respect, perseverance, and cooperation.
As well as enjoying the competitive element of the tournament, the players also showcased key skills that tie closely to our school’s commitment to personal development. They displayed confidence, leadership, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A huge well done to every member of the squad. We are incredibly proud of the way you represented the school, your resilience under pressure, and the smiles that never faded despite the weather!
