Eco and Fairtrade
Welcome to the Holy Trinity Eco and Fairtrade page. We are a committee made up of pupil representatives elected from each class, teachers, support staff and the school cook. The pupil members are from Reception to Year 6.
Eco- We meet regularly to discuss how we can improve recycling, reduce water and energy waste and how we can improve our local and global environments. We have already achieved the Bronze Eco Award and the Silver Eco School Award.
To find out more about our Eco Warriors and our recent school Eco Audit, check out the display board in the school hall.
We think it is really important to recycle and reuse as much as we can. If you have any of these things please bring them into school so that we can recycle them: stamps, batteries, toner cartridges, mobile phones. We have started to do a litter pick every half-term to help with our litter problem.
Fairtrade- We are now a FairAchiever School which is the top Fairtrade award! We will be continuing to promote Fairtrade within school and we will be organising events. Please keep checking this page for any updates on events.
We have carried out lots of work for Fairtrade including bake sales, banana campaigns, Fairtrade hot chocolate and chocolate stalls and learning about Fairtrade.
